Myrtle Beach Fine Dining- The Collector's Cafe
The Myrtle Beach South Carolina area is well known for it's super seafood buffets, pancake houses, and ice cream shops. What if you want a more fine dining, upscale experience? I suggest you check out The Collector's Cafe. Not only is it fine dining at it's best plus a European coffee house, but The Collector's Cafe boasts a beautiful atmosphere whose walls are adorned with local artwork. Hence it's name, The Collector's Cafe has works of art for sale in each room.
What is better than good food, coffee & art? In my opinion not much.
A few friends and I enjoyed a nice lunch here earlier this week. I personally had the Cuban Black Bean Cakes and loved them! My girlfriends tried the Roast Chicken Flatbread and the Pasta Du Jour which was a chicken penne. We all enjoyed the food but honestly more than that we just really liked the atmosphere and artwork. The coffee house side of the Cafe is a great place to kick back and have some good conversation over a cup of tea or coffee.
Collector’s Café has been awarded the “Wine Spectator Award of Excellence” 16 years in a row, “Best Fine Dining in Myrtle Beach—US Airways Magazine”, “Best Dessert Restaurant”, “Best Art Gallery”, “Most Romantic Dining Place” and many other awards and features.
To speak to price point, you can expect to spend around $20 per person for lunch and more for dinner of course. For some this place may not be one you would frequent if budget conscious, but a nice every once in a while treat if you desire something upscale and unique. Regardless, this place is worth checking out during your next trip to Myrtle Beach, even if just for a coffee and dessert or glass of wine.
